Distribution revenues increased
$20,520
due to an increase of $14,431 principally from digital, licensing and home video distribution revenues derived from our original programming, primarily at AMC and IFC. In addition, affiliation fee revenues increased due to an increase in rates and subscribers, partially offset by a decrease due to revenue not recognized for the three months ended March 31, 2013 with respect to an expired affiliation agreement, the renewal of which is in active negotiation. As previously discussed, distribution revenues vary based on the timing of availability of our programming to distributors. Because of these factors, we expect distribution revenues to vary from quarter to quarter.
